I was born and raised in Port Arthur Texas, but I have lived most of my life in the Galveston County area. After graduating high school I attended X-ray school at UTMB and became a Registered X-ray Technician. I worked in this field for 24years, both at UTMB and Doctor’s Clinic in Galveston, before going to work at American National Insurance Co. While at ANICO I worked in Medical Case Management and Health Benefits Management. In 2012 I retired from ANICO after 22 years of service. My goal in life is to teach and assist women to be all that they can be through spiritual, physical, and emotional support. I have been given this opportunity through a Sisterhood of women consisting of all races, religions, ages and ethnic backgrounds. This has helped me as well as others to meet specific needs to women who may be unaware that there is hope and help in every situation and or circumstance that they may be facing.
Joining with the Galveston County Crusaders Against Breast Cancer (GCCABC), has opened the opportunity for me to continue the God given vision that was placed over my life.
Utilize knowledge in medical and general background to help others. My reward is being able to make part of others health success stories.
